The United Sikhs has been helping the illegal Indian migrants, who are living in the United Kingdom without documents, in returning back to India. The United Sikhs has been offering this service with the help of Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall for the last 14 years.
While speaking to the media, Bibi Narpinder Kaur Mann informed that the UK government and Indian High Commission helps the homeless and unaided illegal migrants in getting their documents ready so that they could return back to their native countries. “The UK government also offers a financial aid worth £3000 along with an air ticket to India,” she added.
Bibi Narpinder Kaur informed that the United Sikhs has helped thousands of Indian illegal migrants to return back to their home countries by getting ready their documents. “Recently, a woman has returned back to Punjab who had lost her husband in the UK,” she said.
Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall president Gurmail Singh Malhi and vice president Harjit Singh Sarpanch have appreciated the efforts of United Sikhs’ volunteers while expressing commitment to helping the needy people.
It is pertinent to note here that the hardships of illegal migrants have increased substantially since the global outbreak of Covid-19.
